Breakings news has hit the Steel City on Monday morning.
After HC Mike Tomlin attempted to hold off a flurry of blood thirsty reporters seeking answers surrounding whether or not Aaron Rodgers would play for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025, insider Mike Garafalo dropped a bombshell—Rodgers and the newly acquired Steelers WR DK Metcalf receiver had a throwing session this past weekend.
Garafolo stated on Good Morning Football that this was a step in the evaluation for Rodgers—but could it be more?
This comes less than 24 hours after Tomlin stated that the team had no real ‘Plan B’ if Rodgers retired and that the team was confident in Mason Rudolph needing to start if that were the case.
Tomlin appeared to have been playing with his cards to close to his vest—but why? Surely, he would have known about the throwing session between Rodgers and Metcalf. Does this mean that an announcement could truly be coming on Pat McAfee’s Big Night AHT event in Pittsburgh?
