it’s almost time for the most thrilling part of the summer: SharkFest. The dog days are nearly here and with them comes National Geographic’s 11th annual SharkFest, helping audiences get up close and personal with the ocean’s apex predator. This year’s SharkFest will feature 72 hours of original shark-centric programming airing across a mix of traditional TV and streaming platforms including Hulu and Disney+. What channel is SharkFest on this year?

SharkFest is National Geographic’s summer shark programming, and this year, it’ll air across National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo, Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN2. ABC will also be airing reruns of last year’s SharkFest hits, and Shark-themed content will be available for fans of all ages with programming available on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and Disney Junior’s YouTube page.

When is Shark Week?

The official dates for the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week have yet to be announced, but 2023 Shark Week is set for Sunday, July 23 through Saturday, July 29.
