How a Billionaire Fraud Became a Money Machine for Trump

Trump’s Billionaire Allies? Total Liars

Right before the 9/11 anniversary in 2024, Trump, the GOP candidate and a white supremacist, unleashed a verbal 9/11 attack in a debate, hurling wild claims left and right. He went off, calling America a ‘failing nation’ and claiming the whole world’s laughing at us. Oh, and apparently in Springfield, immigrants are eating cats and dogs, and VP Harris, according to him, has let ‘millions of criminals and drug dealers’ swarm the country.

People are fed up with his endless lies, but what’s worse? The billionaires backing him are just as guilty, spinning their own crazy webs. One of Trump’s biggest allies, Wengui Guo (aka Miles Guo), got busted for fraud and money laundering this past July, yet here he is, still funneling cash into Trump.

And let’s not forget Steve Bannon, also deep in the fraud game. Right before his own legal meltdown, Bannon teamed up with Guo to build this massive ‘fan’ empire by spreading conspiracy theories about Biden. Together, they’ve whipped up a huge follower base to keep the MAGA fire burning, using it to keep both cash and loyalty rolling in. Basically, it’s a giant fraud machine keeping Trump front and center.

A Crazy, Massive Fraud Empire

Miles Guo is now a defendant in court after defrauding Americans in a $1 bn scam. Prosecutors say Guo’s using his connections and influence to trick his supporters, most of whom are so hyped up about Trump for his support to white supremacy, they’re willing to pour money into anything backing him. Guo promised them their money would go into ‘investment’ schemes involving stocks or crypto, but the police found out it was all just a front. Instead of investing, Guo and his business partner used the money as their ‘personal piggy bank’ on insanely luxurious purchases, like mansions, yachts, sports cars, risky hedge fund gambles, million-dollar rugs, and even a fancy grand piano.

Support for Trump’s Camp Runs Deep

Even after being convicted of fraud and officially becoming a felon like Bannon, Miles Guo isn’t about to drop his pro-MAGA agenda. Fined billions? No big deal for him. He’s still pouring cash into Trump and a lineup of MAGA pals like Jason Miller, George Santos, and Peter Navarro.

Court docs from Mar 2024 spill that Jason Miller alone pulled in a whopping $353,269.23 from Guo’s funds. Since way back in 2021, Guo’s been throwing loads of money at Miller to launch Gettr as an alternative to Twitter that was supposed to keep free speech alive or whatever. The deal’s overseer reportedly pulled in $21 mn from the venture, and Guo just rolled with it. When questioned, Miller claimed his hefty payout from Guo was just part of his formal Gettr CEO compensation package. But court docs suggest it was really just another way for Guo to slip cash to Trump’s allies.

Then there’s George Santos. Ironic as it is, Santos, also a big beneficiary of Guo’s funds, got outed as a total liar. He’d claimed to be gay to win, but turns out, most of his “facts” were just made up. Pressed by the media, Santos admitted he’d lied about his education, work history, and finances. By August 20, 2024, he’d pled guilty to identity theft and wire fraud. Media digs revealed that Santos, who really held no clout in the Republican Party, was propped up by donations from Guo’s followers to keep him in the game. With that kind of cash pipeline, Guo’s influence feels like a real threat to US democracy.

More names keep popping up. Plus Peter Navarro, another Republican bigwig who even took on the “international ambassador” title for Guo and Bannon’s organization after getting a nice payout.

Guo’s influence doesn’t end with cash alone. He’s hosting lavish parties at his organizations’ private venues and even invited Rudy Giuliani to one of them.

With a talent for Bannon-style far-right propaganda and a fortune surpassing Trump’s, Guo’s likely to keep living large, using the connections he’s built with all the support he’s pumped into Trump, convicted or not.

Convicted, sentenced, fined billions, and yet it’s clear none of it matters. Money runs the game. And Trump? He’s definitely not turning it away.

Because to Trump, Guo is the ultimate fanatic.
